River is a very playful and sweet boy. He is a little higher energy than the rest of the pack. He gets along with other dogs and kids as well. He is very smart and receptive to training. Although higher energy he is good at calming down and taking a rest when needed. If you have a pup at home that needs a partner to run off some energy together - he would be your guy. Or if you have older kids that need to run and be worn out, again, River is your guy. He would THRIVE in an active family, camping, hiking, running, exploring, etc. River is a true rescue needing to find a patient human who is rescuing for the right reasons - to be patient, kind, understanding and rescuing to rehab a pup that in October was going to be euthanized as an 8 week old puppy and had no chance at life.

Now he is very very much alive, active and curious. SMART! He will need someone to keep him stimulated during the day. Nose puzzles, frozen kongs, etc. will help him as well.

Adoption Fee covers 1st post rescue vet welfare/health examination which was done in October. Any medications needed at that visit. Age-appropriate core vaccines, 1st dose Next-guard (flea & tick) & Heart-guard (heart-worm) - (needs this monthly), Fecal testing and deworming, Spay/Neuter (age appropriate), Microchipping, and a FREE trial day at Our Family Pet Sitting Resort & Spa ($27 value).

Love You More rescued him, now we need someone to open their heart and home to permanently save this precious baby!
